Chi Kung is an ancient system of deep breathing exercises. Its
history can be traced back over 3000 years to ancient China. In Chinese, chi kung means
"energy mastery" or "energy discipline.The movements in chi kung are
generally performed slowly. The forms of Chi Kung practice are Standing Still Chi Kung,
Moving Chi Kung, and Seated Chi Kung. Chi Kung promotes good health and longevity, it also
has some martial arts applications.
Mr. Bennett trained in Chi Kung for approximately one year by video tapes and books prior
to seeking and locating a good and knowledgeable instructor in February of 1997. His
current Ki instructor is Don Jeffery of the Ki Development Association. He recommends any
individual interested in Chi Kung practice to seek a qualified Chi Kung Practitioner. Mr.
Bennett is still yet limited in his knowledge of Chi Kung .
