
Pedro Bennett is the founder of Pedro Bennett School of Self Defense. Most of his martial arts experience is in Kenpo-jujitsu / Kickboxing. After leaving the Cobb County, Georgia Police Department in 1995, he became a certified chemistry teacher. He previously taught in the Boston and Brockton, Massachusetts, and Cobb Co., GA public school systems as well as Curry College, Milton, Ma. He is presently a chemistry/physics teacher. He has a BS in Chemistry and a Masters of Education; currently he is doctorate candidate in organizational leadership. He has additional martial arts training in Shootfighting®, Kenpo Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, and Ki Development/Chi Kung. He trained in Shootfighting® under the direct guidance of World Heavy Weight Shootfighting® Champion, Bart Vale. Pedro was a first generation instructor and a certified Olympic trainer under Bart Vale, as well. He believes a true martial artist will learn how to defend him or herself both in the standing position and on the ground.
